A Few of Our Clients

Lumileds, a subsidiary of Philips:

Philips has been our client since the first year we've been in business. We have provided them with a variety of services, including:
  • Custom database application enhancement
  • Network configuration troubleshooting
  • Adobe Captivate authoring services
Our team's experience with the Lumileds database goes back to 1998, when we developed it for the Hewlett-Packard Company. Our team's experience with the Lumileds company goes back to when they were founded. Our team developed the very first custom database they funded.

U.S. Patent and Trademark Office:

The USPTO wanted to improve the quality of the custom software it was creating, both for internal use and for its clients. We are proud that they chose us to do this. We collaborated with renowned industry expert Karl Wiegers and their senior technical staff, on-site in Washington D.C. over a period of several months.

The result was a series of process improvements to guide requirements engineering towards industry best practices. During this project, we were actually advancing the state of the art: the USPTO had been unable to discover anything equal to the process it ended up having to create for itself. We're especially proud that the USPTO invited us to co-present about this successful project at a major software development conference.

U.S. Navy:

The U.S. Navy has a major training facility at NAS Fallon, NV, near where we are located. Top Gun is one of several entities operating out of this facility. Our team worked with Dyncorp and the U.S. Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC) to develop a computer-based airspace schedule management system. The project was a resounding success.

In 2005, NSAWC approved a major enhancement to enable a Flash-based way for pilots to request training airspace from all Internet-enabled Navy facilities, including U.S. aircraft carriers. The PQSW team performed the requirements engineering and developed the software. This project was another success. The software is used whenever the Navy schedules fighter pilot or strike pilot training at Fallon.

    Fallon Travel, LLC:

We are happy to work with smaller companies too. Fallon Travel Services has been our client since the first year we've been in business. We have provided them with a variety of services, including:
  • Accounting system integration
  • Custom database application development
  • Custom Web site development
  • E-Commerce Web site development
This is a good example of the sort of client relationship we seek. We begin by adding value in one aspect of the business, and become invited in to more and more areas, until we're adding value in many capacities.
